My names is Ms. Mathieson and this is my fifth year as an Elementary School Counselor. I have a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Psychology and Social Work and received my Master’s of Science Degree in School Counseling from Northwest Missouri State University. Through my practice as an elementary school counselor I provide short term individual and smalI group counseling, classroom lessons, and collaboration with outside resources to assist with students and families. My overall goal is to make sure every student feels welcomed, seen, and confident to reach success both inside and outside the classroom!
When I am not at school you can find me working in my garden, reading, hanging out with my amazing friends and family, and most importantly spending time with my dog, Penny Lane! I am so excited to start the new school year and support your student(s) and family! Go Pirates!
