Hi Platte County Families - my name is Mrs. Socha and I'm so excited to be joining the Special Education Team this year at Siegrist! This will be my 16th year as an educator. I spent the last 4 years as a primary classroom teacher and prior to that I was a Music Teacher for 11 years for various grade-levels. I have always particularly enjoyed connecting with students beyond the classroom and I'm excited that my new role allows me to work closely with students AND parents to help them reach their goals . I have a special passion for teaching early literacy and love to add musical elements to our learning to help it "stick!"

I live in the Northland with my husband and 2 children - my daughter Lillian (7) and my son Elliot (3). We love to play outside, read books, cook together, make art, visit new places, and enjoy being outside.
