Hello, Siegrist families! My name is Abby Wittmeyer, and I am a fourth grade teacher at Siegrist Elementary. I am so excited to be here! I began my teaching career in 2013, and I continued my career in education for four years prior to becoming a stay at home mom. I received my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from William Jewell College and my Masters in Educational Leadership from Park University.
My hope for our students is that they feel empowered and supported in who they are and want to become as learners, leaders, and contributing members of our community. I have two littles that keep me very busy! We love outdoor adventures, spending time with family, reading books, baking, and crafting. My passion for being a Mom and an educator make me who I am! If I’m not in the classroom or spending time with my family, you’ll find me reading, playing the piano, or catching up on my favorite TV shows with my favorite snacks.
I feel so fortunate to be a part of the Siegrist family! I look forward to growing together!
