Hello! I'm Elisabeth Hampl, and I'm honored to be a first grade teacher for Siegrist Elementary. I attended Platte County as a student from K-12th grades and am thrilled to be able to serve my home district as an elementary educator. I love our community! I completed my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education at William Jewell College. In college, I was a selected member of Kappa Delta Pi Honors Society, Mortar Board Honor Society, and awarded several awards. At WJC I worked as a research assistant for many years collecting data and building relationships with elementary students. Furthermore, I completed and presented my own research study on the topic of Reading Comprehension. I have a passion for teaching kiddos and finding best practices! My goal for your child is to ensure they feel valued and to empower them to think critically and be collaborative problem-solvers. I love utilizing my passion for education and strong academic background to contribute to the learning environment at Siegrist Elementary!
