Our Siegrist Elementary first-grade students recently partnered with Platte County High School Performing Arts students from Ms. Glidewell’s class for an exciting Real-World Learning experience. High school students shared their journeys as performers, discussed career pathways in the arts, and even treated our first graders to a live performance!
First graders then extended their learning by exploring Career Kits created by Dr. Martin’s Advanced ELA 4 students. Students created a sock puppet and then worked in small groups to write and perform their own skit! This experience showcased the power of collaboration and community partnerships to inspire young learners.
