Special Education Teacher
Siegrist Elementary

This is my 23rd year of teaching special education at Platte County R-3. I taught Behavior/Emotional Disabilities for 11 of those years. I have been working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorders for the past 12 years. I have a Bachelors in Elementary Education with certification in Special Education from Missouri Western State University. I completed a Masters in Education degree from Baker University and a Masters in Evaluation and Programming for Autism Spectrum Disorders from Missouri Western State University. I enjoy each and every day with the students I work with. My goal is to create a safe and caring environment for the students to grow and learn independence.
