buildingWelcome to Siegrist Elementary! We are a kindergarten through 5th grade elementary school in the northern attendance area of Platte County School District. Our building first opened in 1997, and has been added to and renovated in the 2000s and 2010s. We are proud to be a Leader in Me school, and believe everyone can be a leader, everyone has genius, and change starts with me. Our students and staff live by the following mission: "We, the students and staff of Siegrist Elementary, will work together to become leaders by showing good character traits and practicing the 7 Habits. We will have fun, work hard, and do our best to reach our goals and change the world into a better place."

  • Office is open from 8:15AM - 4:15PM
  • Students can enter the building- 8:30 a.m.
  • Official start of school- 8:45 a.m.
  • Dismissal- Car Riders, Walkers and Y-Club-3:35 p.m.
  • Dismissal-Bus Riders- 3:50 p.m.

 

🏫 2026-2027 Incoming Kindergarten Enrollment

                                           (New to the district)

Children who have turned five years of age before August 1, 2026, are eligible for kindergarten for the 2026-27 school year and are invited to our Kindergarten Kickoffs in our elementaries on April 22.

  • Siegrist Elementary: April 22, Two sessions (5-5:45pm and 6-6:45pm)

Incoming Kindergarten families are encouraged to use our school locator tool or boundary map on the District website, or call the District office at 816-858-5420 for confirmation of attendance area, then complete the New Student Enrollment forms for the 2026-27 school year. Families with current Great Beginnings students entering kindergarten will complete returning student enrollment forms at a later date. If you know of a family with a child entering kindergarten, please pass this information along.
