Welcome to second grade! I am so excited to begin another year at Siegrist Elementary. My husband, Jay, and I live in Platte City. We have three girls, Madison, Bailey and Paige. All three girls graduated from Platte County High School. We are a very proud pirate family!
My first educational experience was attending K-12 grades in Centralia, Kansas . This is a very rural area in northeast Kansas. I received my Bachelor's degree in elementary education from Kansas State University and then earned my Master's degree at MidAmerica Nazarene University. I have been teaching since 1992. During my career, I have taught middle school and elementary students. Siegrist Elementary School has been my home since 2007.
Each year, I thrive on building a classroom community of learners. I can't wait to learn more about your family as we build our classroom family. Let's have an amazing year growing and learning.
