Our Book Blast event was once again a success. We raised enough contributions for each student in the school to receive a book. Whether students received one to ten books, the joy on the students' faces as they opened their packages and discovered their new books is truly priceless. Some students started reading immediately while some took in the smell of a brand-new book. Students will be able to take their books home to start or add to their home library.
With such great
support, we have no doubt that next year's event will be even more successful, and hopefully, every student will indeed receive at least two books. Thank you to everyone involved for making this event possible and for prioritizing literacy in our school community.
